Configure your Sign-In Page

This document explains how to configure the Sign-In page of your Motivation site.

Select "Sign-In Page"

1. Click on "Content" from the Motivation Administration Menu.
2. Click on "Sign-In Page" from the drop-down menu.

Configure Sign-In Page

If your Motivation site is set up with a single Organization then you can skip this section.
1. Organization: Motivation will allow you to set up custom sign-in pages for each organization (your site must be licensed for multiple organizations).
2. URL Key String: Enter your the URL for the organizations sign-in page.

Sign-In Page Content

1. Motivation comes with a built in word processor. if you hold the cursor over any of the icons you will see a description of that icon's function. You have all the typical word processor functions available to you, such as the ability to change the font, font size, bold, italic, underline etc. In addition there are functions such as a hyperlink, documents and image managers.
2. This is the area where you define what you want to be displayed on your sign-in page. You can enter text directly into this area, or you can copy and paste text in. (See below on how to import and align images.)

Select location for the image to be placed into the SIgn-In Page

1. Select the location that you want to place the image.
2. Click on the Image Manager Icon.

1. Select the image that you wish to place on the sign-in page (you will see a preview of the image in the preview pane).
2. Click the "Insert" button to insert the image into the sign-in page.

Image Alignment

You will note that when you import the image it has been placed between the text, and appears to the left of the screen. To align the image:
1. Right-click on the image.
2. Select "Set Image Properties" from the drop down menu.

1. Click on the Image Alignment "X"
2. Select right alignment, if you wish to align the picture to the right of the page (for example).
3. Click the "OK" to save you settings.

Editing in "HTML" mode

Motivation provides the option to edit your Sign-In page in HTML mode. This mode is useful if you have someone whom can write in HTML code.
1. Click the "<>" icon to enter HTML mode.

Saving your Sign-In Page settings

Click the "Submit Changes" button to save your settings.
