This document explains how to configure the New Member Workflow for your Motivation website.
1. Click on "Configuration" from the Motivation Administration Menu.
2. Click on "System Configuration" from the drop-down menu.
3. Click "New Member Workflow" from the submenu.
The "Motivation Configuration: New Account and Login Workflow" screen will provide you with a description/explanation of the new account and login workflow process. Click the "Next" button to proceed.
1. Permit visitors to create account: Selecting this option will allow members to create their own account by clicking on a link on your Motivation sign-in screen. The link will be titled: "Need an account? Create One Now".
2. When new client is creating an account, email is mandatory: This option will force the participant to enter their email address during the self-enrollment.
3. New accounts must be drawn from 'Disabled' records: Motivation will allow you to import a file of your participants/members from another system, such as your Human Resource system; so rather than participants creating an account, they will activate their account. The link that the participant would click on will be titled: " Need an account? Activate Yours Now". The member would then receive an email that will have their ID and and password for use with Motivation.
4. Automatically grant access to Motivation after enrollment: By selecting this option new members will automatically gain access to Motivation/Check-in if they are classed as "low risk" after completing the necessary health screenings (medical screening options are explained later in this document). If this option is not selected then the participant will have to be approved by a staff member at a later date. BSDI recommends that you check this option if you have a participant base of over 100.

1. Request a Billing Choice for Member Enrollment: This option allows your participants' to select which membership type they require during the enrollment process.
2. After membership expires: This allows you to decide how you want Motivation to process participants after their membership expires.
3. Current Membership Types: A list of the membership types that are available. You will note that there is a default membership type. This default will be used when a member enrolls, and you have not checked the "Request a Billing Choice for Membership Enrollment" checkbox.
4. Add New Membership Type: This option allows you to create new membership types. Please note that you are able to enter a price for the membership. However, the price is for display/informational purposes only.
Click the "Next" button to continue.
1. Require participant to fill out a consent form: This option allows you to require your participants to complete a consent form during the enrollment process. In addition, you can define when you want your participants to re-take the consent form.
2. Medical/Wellness Profile Options: By choosing this option you can require your participants to complete a medical/wellness questionnaire during their enrollment.
3. Which questionnaire will be available to participants (enrollment or menu)?: You have the option of which questionnaire that you require your participants to complete. Also, you can define when you want your participants to re-take the questionnaire.
4. For High Risk Members on Initial or Renewal Medical/Wellness Profile: By choosing this option you will be requiring a participant that completes a medical/wellness questionnaire and receives feedback of being moderate or high risk to obtain a Physician's Clearance Form (PCF) from their doctor, before being able to use Motivation/Check-in. In addition, you can specify a different membership duration for these participants.
Click the "Submit" button to record your selections.
