Motivation is used by health service organizations throughout the world to perform population health and needs assessments and to plan and
implement health enhancement programs. It is particularly popular in government, corporate and hospital-based wellness programs but is also
used by smaller organizations serving specialty markets (e.g. fire and rescue).
Motivation has flexible, customizable tools to identify existing health issues, predict future risks, and gauge interest and participation in your programs. Its
greatest assests, however, are its personalized health improvement tools: participants
can log activities and workouts, log specialty measures
such as glucose or other personal values, participate in an incentive program, learn more about their specific needs by taking our health
risk assessment or other questionnaires, and learn more about health and fitness.
Motivation's feature set:
- A complete workflow for participant sign-up including: online account creation, a consent form, a medical screening questionnaire and
routing to a doctor's consent form if they are high or moderate risk. The consent form and medical screening are optional but, if chosen, new participants must complete them before being fully admitted to the system. The sign-up
workflow is a great way to put your new member initiation requirements online so participants have all necessary paperwork completed before
they come to your facility for an orientation.
- BSDI's innovative Wellness Assessment questionnaire. This instrument features a full spectrum of
health status, productivity, health
risk and Wellcoaches-based personal motivation questions. Upon completing the instrument, participants receive a detailed status report that is then used to guide the
content they are shown whenever they log in to the system. Management will use the
results to plan interventions and support programs appropriate for the population.

logging attendances at your facility or even by taking online assessments. Participants can claim prizes (which you define) right online.
- An Activity Logging Area complete with historical analysis showing aggregate calories, points and pounds!
- Online Workouts: create workouts for your participants using BDSI's sophisticated workout management tools and participants can retrieve their workout when they visit.
They can even review photos and descriptions of their exercises or log
the workout right on the site.
- Supplemental questionnaires include our compelling "True Age" Questionnaire (which
also produces an "Aging Rate" index), the BSDI Nutritional Assessment, and an
Osteoporosis Risk Assessment.
- Custom User Logs: keep a complete record of any type of participant data. Both staff and participants
